We are mentors and leaders with over 50 years of combined experience in R&D, design, simulation, fabrication, test, and production on aircraft engines, fuel cells, automotive engines, satellite and optical systems, oil shale production, or power generation to name but a few. We have a proven track record with numerous patents, product launches and customer support, including world's inaugural technology demonstrations such as geothermic fuel cells.

Meet the Geeks
Bernhard Fischer, MSc PhD
Dr. Fischer has been around the block a few times and worked in many areas of the automotive industry, on aircraft engines, stationary power generation, high temperature solid oxide fuel cells, shale oil production and many more. He has a vast working knowledge in design and development, simulation, six sigma, fabrication and test, and proven this while leading small groups of highly dedicated and educated individuals and larger focus groups, or simply by spearheading to explore uncharted territory. He is a scientist, engineer, explorer, and tinkerer at heart who is driven to help others achieve their goals and in that we all will win and make the world we live in a better place.
Prior to his tenure in industry Dr. Fischer completed a Bachelors and Masters in Aerospace Engineering at the Technical University of Munich, Germany, and a PhD in Combustion Science at Cranfield Institute of Technology in Bedfordshire, England. In his spare time Dr. Fischer likes to spend time with his 3 boys and to be outside and explore :).
Peter Charles, MSc, PE
With over twenty-five years of engineering experience spanning across the space satellite, automotive, and laser systems industries, Mr. Charles possesses a profound understanding of the essential elements for project success. With extensive experience in finite element and computational fluid dynamics methods, Mr. Charles brings expertise in a diverse range of problem solving skills to the team. He has a passion for design optimization, consistently seeking ways to enhance a design's performance while minimizing weight, complexity, and cost.
Mr. Charles completed bachelor's and master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Rochester and is a licensed professional engineer. Away from work he enjoys spending time with his family, constructing things, and outdoor adventures.
